Privacy policy

Mine Citation Scout collects only the information needed to prepare, deliver, and support a requested sample or paid briefing. The sample form requires a work email, service territory, and Part 46 or Part 48 focus. A name, business name, and delivery model are optional.

What we collect and why

Form submissions are stored with a request type, status, source, and submission time so Mine Citation Scout can prepare the correct territory sample and respond to the request. A short-lived pseudonymous network key is also stored to limit automated form abuse. The raw network address is not placed in the sample request record. We also count form-start and successful-submission events without attaching form-field content to those event records; these are event counts, not unique visitor counts. Operational notification records track pending acknowledgements, attempts, provider acceptance references, and failures. Acceptance by an email provider does not prove inbox delivery. Suppression records help prevent unwanted or undeliverable messages. We do not request payment card details on this website.

Public sample tools

Sample-library search, filters and selected records are handled in your current browser page. Selection is not saved to an account and does not create an alert or subscription. Exporting a CSV creates a file on your device; it does not send those selections to us.

How information is used

Submitted details are used to prepare the requested sample, explain the founding pilot, provide the service if purchased, and respond to support or cancellation questions. Mine Citation Scout does not sell submitted information, add it to unrelated marketing lists, or use hidden email open-tracking pixels. Public mine and operator records shown in the product come from public government and business sources and are handled separately from customer request information.

Storage, sharing, and retention

Requests are stored in the website database and are available only for operating the service. Information may be handled by infrastructure and payment providers only when necessary to host the website, deliver the service, or process an approved payment. Payment is completed through a secure Stripe invoice after explicit sample approval and payment activation, so card data is handled by Stripe rather than this website. Request details are retained only as long as reasonably needed to fulfill the request, support the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Your choices

You may ask what information is held, correct it, or request deletion by emailing hello@minecitationscout.com. A deletion request may be limited when information must be retained for fraud prevention, accounting, or another legal obligation. This policy may be updated as the service changes; the effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
